I collect foreign money and have over 80 countries. I collect both currency and coins. Where can I sell these and how do I know they are reliable? Thanks in advance.

if you are looking for even exchange, you need to go to a bank that will convert your currency….or at least whatever the exchange rate is. Otherwise you need to find a collector who collects foreign money

Currency conversion companies and some banks will convert many current, foreign banknotes to US Dollars. You may be able to find find these at airports, US borders with Canada and Mexico, financial districts of large cities, and in cities with large universities or colleges that have foreign students, among other places.
These companies will typically charge a fee, typically in the single-digit percentage range of the amount transfered. They accept only banknotes, not coins, and the banknotes must be current in the countries they come from.
Outside of that, many people sell foreign coins and currency on eBay. One typical place to sell mixed lots is the “Coins & Paper Money > Coins: World > Collections, Lots” category there.

Most banks will change your foreign money , but some of them can take up to a week to change it. Go to your bank and ask them about the exchange rate for the foreign money you have and they will tell you how long it will take.
